The Contractor is completing road work between 1st ST SE and 3rd ST SE as well as installing deep stormwater utilities across 3rd ST SE
Expect delays throughout the weeks of September 11th through September 24th due to temporary detours. The section of road between 1st ST SE and 3rd ST SE will be periodically shut down for completing road work.
There will be a new detour set up from Sept. 18 through Sept 20th for stormwater work in 3rd St. Traffic will detour to Grant Road and Kentucky Ave. Paving on Highline Drive between 1st ST SE and 3rd ST SE is scheduled for the week of September 25th.
Highline Drive Improvements Project

The contractor is completing road widening between Simon St & Pace Dr as well as installing deep stormwater utilities between 2nd St & 3rd St SE.
Expect delays throughout the weeks of August 27th through September 10th due to temporary detours. The section of road between Simon St and Pace Dr will be periodically shut down for completing road widening work.
Traffic south of 1st St SE will continue to be detoured to Rock Island Road. A 3-day closure of the intersection of 3rd ST SE and Highline Dr is scheduled for the week of September 11th. Traffic will utilize one-lane flagger-controlled detours during this effort.
