| City Government
The City of East Wenatchee is a non-charter code city operating under the Mayor/Council form of government. The East Wenatchee City Council is comprised of seven members elected by the East Wenatchee electorate. Each Councilmember is elected to a specific, non-partisan Council position for a four-year term.
East Wenatchee City Councilmembers are Councilmembers at large; meaning they work on all city-wide issues, not just issues surrounding their place of residence.
The City Council is the legislative body of the City. The City Council considers and enacts the laws that govern the City, considers policy, adopts an annual budget, approves vouchers for payment of obligations, and attends to related legislative business.
Regular meetings of the East Wenatchee City Council are held the second and forth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 271 9th Street NE. The Mayor and City Councilmembers welcome your attendance and participation in City Council meetings.
The elected and appointed officials who serve the City of East Wenatchee are a dedicated group who put serving the public above all else. We are committed to providing exceptional citizen service at all times.
