Application Process
Applications are accepted for advertised positions only. Jobs are normally advertised in the Wenatchee World as well as posted on this page. Entry Level Civil Service Positions are filled by establishing lists annually through the Civil Service Testing Process. Test dates will be advertised at least one month in advance.
Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk, 271 9th St N.E., East Wenatchee, WA 98802 (509-884-9515) or may be downloaded from this web site. Applications may be faxed (509-884-6233) or mailed to this address, must be signed, and must be in by the deadline posted in order to be considered.
Hiring Procedure
Applications will be reviewed for completeness and qualifications for the position. Selected candidates will be called for interviews and will be required to provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States. Upon an offer of employment, applicants must undergo a fitness for duty physical examination including drug testing.
The City of East Wenatchee is a tobacco free, drug free workplace. Applicants required to carry Commercial Drivers License endorsements must agree to DOT random drug testing.
