HIGHLINE DRIVE IMPROVEMENT
WEEKLY UPDATE FOR :JUNE 18TH-JULY 1, 2017
The Contractor is currently preparing for utility work beginning June 26th. Crews are out potholing (confirming existing utility locations and depths) this week.
Sewer work near Pace Drive will start the week of June 26th and continue through June 30th. Crews may also start stormwater work near 3rd St SE toward the end of the week.
Expect minor delays throughout the week of June 19th through June 23rd for potholing and other preparation work.
Expect delays at the intersection of Pace Dr. the week of June 26th through June 30th. A temporary detour will be in place between Simon St SE and 2nd St SE. Local access will be maintained on 1st St SE and Pace Dr.
Link Transit will be rerouting transit service during the Highline Dr construction project. This will affect service on Route 11/12 and Route 23. Please visit www.linktransit.com for more information.
The City of East Wenatchee is currently accepting applications for the City Clerk position. Please go to the city's website: www.east-wenatchee.com and complete the application as well as submitting a resume and cover letter. Only electronic applications will be accepted. HIGHLINE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT:
Selland Construction has been given the official go-ahead by the City to begin work on the road. They are mainly working on administrative tasks right now so there will not be much, if any, activity on the road the week of June 11-16th, 2017.
The week of June 19th-23rd, crews will be working in the vicinity of Highline Drive and 3rd St SE installing utilities.
Expect minor delays at the intersection of Highline Drive and 3rd ST SE. Lanes will be temporarily shifted and a detour may be in place toward the end of next week. Please go to the city's website to see the detours.
With all the confederate statues coming down you should consider renaming robert e lee school. I mean sooner or later someone is going to contact the media or even worse lawyers to force you to change it. .. You don't see Germany naming schools after Hitler.
